Your Open Water course in Komodo
Your Open Water course in Komodo
For beginners
Your first breath underwater during your PADI Open Water course is a moment you will never forget. Learn the skills you need to plan your own dives with a buddy and dive all over the world… for life. That’s right, the certification never expires!
The course is split into 3 different parts
Knowledge Development
Complete your classroom work online to get the most out of your time in Indonesia. Dive theory is taught via videos, book work, knowledge reviews, quizzes and a final exam. Then, you will review and enforce what you’ve learned with your PADI Scuba Instructor.
Confined Water Dives
Get familiar with your dive equipment & practice skills with your instructor in a safe, controlled environment. During these dives, you will gain confidence through repetition, get help with your buoyancy, and become a master of safety skills. This portion of the course is usually done in one day, but can be split in two days depending on dive shop logistics and your needs.
Open Water Dives
Explore the Komodo National Park! These dives will be split between skill evaluation from your confined water session, new skill development & enjoying beautiful reefs.
